Rusanda Panfili

ANDARA 1980

“Andara 1980” - a journey to the golden era of analog synthesisers and the rebirth of Sci-Fi soundtracks

Andara, the planet of never-ending sand dunes, and desolated dried plateaus, sets the stage for Rusanda Panfili’s first album as a film music composer - “Andara 1980”. The story of the album takes place in the year 1980 - an homage to the genius of Vangelis and his work for Blade Runner.

After working as a classical musician all her life, and year-long collaborations with one of the most influential composer of our time, Hans Zimmer, Rusanda Panfili crystallized her passion for film music into “Andara 1980” - a mix between electronic and neo-classical, with dark-ambient and new-age flavours.
